Chicken yoga taught by Ybor City’s Yoga Loft is a trendy, lighthearted, and therapeutic, wellness experience where participants practice yoga in the presence of rescue chickens. The yoga class benefits the Ybor Misfits Microsanctuary. These classes, featuring, friendly rescue chickens known for promoting relaxation, laughter, and a unique, intimate connection with nature, frequently held at the Hotel Haya in Ybor City, FL

The Experience: Participants perform standard poses (like downward dog) while chickens wander around or sit on mats, wearing custom made diapers.

Benefits: The sessions are designed to be fun, relaxing, and non-traditional, workouts, creating a, unique, and, memorable experience.

Locations: Known sessions have been held at Hotel Haya in Ybor City, FL and in Labrador City, Newfoundland.

Fees: The tickets for the yoga session are 20 dollars. All proceeds are given directly to Ybor Misfits Microsanctuary.

Details: This is an 18 and above event. Hotel Haya provides champagne and coffee for participants after the event. Pictures with the chickens can be taken after the yoga class. Jewelry should be avoided and chickens love shiny objects.

Practical Teaching Experience

Throughout the program, you will learn to teach and sequence different yoga classes, with a particular focus on sun salutations. As a final exercise, participants will have the opportunity to lead a full class, allowing them to gain confidence and experience as instructors.
